Prince Kaybee has been trolled after he mocked Nedbank Cup winners Kaizer Chiefs.
The DJ and music producer has often courted controversy for supporting unpopular soccer teams.
On Saturday, 10 May, Amakhosi bagged a 2-1 victory against rivals, Orlando Pirates.
PRINCE KAYBEE TROLLED OVER KAIZER CHIEFS INSULT
Like many South Africans, Prince Kaybee has been live-tweeting his comments about the Nedbank Cup final, which was held in Durban.
On his X account, the muso – a staunch Orlando Pirates supporter – mocked Kaizer Chiefs, calling them the “weakest team anyone can ever play against”.
After the final whistle blew signalling the “Glamour Boys” victory, Kaybee posted: “Lol I can’t believe we lost against the worst team in football history”.
Needless to say, many Kaizer Chiefs were unimpressed by his comments.
@yangamessi: “Take it with your chest after you disrespected Chiefs.”
@thabo_Veee:“You always bet the losing horse.”
@SirDumile:“Chiefs have broken the 10-year drought. So we are waiting on you to break your 10-year streak with no hits.”
FOR THE LOVE OF ALL BLACKS
While Prince Kaybee has no love for Kaizer Chiefs, he has also been previously condemned for not supporting South Africa’s national rugby squad, the Springboks.
Instead, the artist has chosen to back New Zealand’s All Blacks.
According to Kaybee, his support of a foreign team comes down to their “technique”.
He previously posted on X: “I support the All Blacks because of their style of play, adaptive planning with sheer brilliance of ‘ball in hand’ and the support they show the ball carrier is exceptional.”
He added: “I’m just not into kick rugby. Sorry if my preference offends you.”
