Zee Nxumalo bags deal with Nickelodeon
Zee Nxumalo is taking her stardom to new heights as she lands an exciting international gig with Nickelodeon.
The rising Amapiano star has reportedly been selected to host the pre-show for the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
This impressive milestone comes hot on the heels of her vibrant remix of the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song, which she reimagined in true Amapiano style.
The track, a playful and energetic twist on the beloved cartoon tune, marked the beginning of her collaboration with the global kids’ network.
Speaking on her new role, the Ngisakuthanda hitmaker couldn’t hide her excitement.
“Hosting the pre-show and reimagining the SpongeBob theme song in Amapiano has been such a fun experience. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve got in store!” she said.
Zee’s bubbly personality, infectious sound, and signature bold fashion sense make her a perfect fit for the lively pre-show, which promises fun performances, colourful visuals, and of course, Nickelodeon’s iconic slime.
The pre-show will air on 25 June 2025 at 16:00 on NickToons, DStv channel 308, and will lead into the main ceremony hosted by global star Tyla.
