Singer Zandie Khumalo has publicly criticized veteran actor Sello Maake-kaNcube for mistreating his estranged wife, Pearl Mbewe.
Taking to social media, Zandie expressed her disdain for the actor, referencing past comments he allegedly made about her during a challenging period in her life.
“This man spoke shit about me at a very vulnerable time of my life,” Zandie wrote, recalling a time when she was dealing with legal battles.
She accused Maake-kaNcube of having a pattern of “violating women” and called out what she perceives as a lack of respect.
Zandie also directed part of her message to Pearl, expressing sympathy and encouragement.
“I’m sorry to the wife, but I’m glad I did my bit to wake you up, sisi,” she wrote, wishing Pearl emotional and spiritual healing.
Zandie’s post ended with a question to a brand allegedly associated with Maake-kaNcube, asking if they still work with him, seemingly suggesting a reconsideration of their partnership.
Neither Sello Maake-kaNcube nor Pearl has publicly responded to the claims, but the post has sparked conversation on social media about respect, accountability, and the dynamics of public criticism.
