South African-born billionaire Elon Musk has reacted to 26-year-old author Ashley St Clair’s claim she welcomed his 13th baby.

Pretoria-born billionaire Elon Musk has reacted to 26-year-old author Ashley St Clair’s claim that she welcomed his baby five months ago. This would be the Tesla and Space X CEO’s 13th child.

The author took to Instagram on Friday 14 February to release a statement, which claimed she welcomed a baby five months ago and Musk is the father. Musk reacted to the claim by replying to a fan’s comment saying having another child is just another one of his “side quests”. He replied with a laughing emoji, according to Hello.

So, Musk is yet to confirm nor deny that the child is in fact his. However, he has previously expressed his concerns over the “underpopulation crisis.”

ASHLEY ST CLAIR WANTED TO ‘PROTECT’ CHILD’S PRIVACY

Columnist St Clair stated that she has no previously disclosed welcoming a child with Musk to protect the child’s identity.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote.

“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she continued.

“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting,” she added.

FATHER OF 13?

The billionaire had six children with ex-wife Justine Musk. However, their first child Nevada Alexander died at just 10 weeks old, due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
Musk and Justine later welcomed a pair of twins born as Griffin and Xavier in 2004. Xavier legally changed her gender and name to Vivian Jenna Wilson in 2022.
The pair then welcomed triplets – Kai, Saxon and Damian.
Musk later welcomed X AE A-XII, affectionately known as baby X, with Canadian singer Grimes in May 2020. Together Grimes and Musk also have a daughter named Y, formerly Exa Dark Sideræl and a son named Techno Mechanicus and nicknamed Tau.
The billionaire has a pair of twins Strider and Azure with his Neuralinks executive Shivon Zilis. He also has a third child with Zilis.
