Legendary actor Warren Masemola is set to shake things up in Skeem Saamas Gopane.

The Skeem Saamactor Warren Masemola tells Sunday Worldthat he feels like he’s back with his people.

Masemola’s character, Gopane is an old Turflooper who moved to the Johannesburg to work as a taxi driver.

He will return to Turfloop on Monday, 4 November to search for answers after his son Smaki mysteriously disappeared.

Gopane vows to find out what really happened to his teenage son at the dam.

Talking about joining the show, Masemola said, “It is absolutely beautiful. I actually feel like I am in Limpopo.

“Being a city boy that grew up in Tshwane, the set of Skeem Saam makes me feel like I am back with my people.”

MORE ACTORS JOIN ‘SKEEM SAAM’

The SABC1 educational soapie Skeem Saamalso recently introduced newcomer Julia Mathe as Mapitsi and Tbose’s nanny, Sis Bertha. She made her debut on Monday, 21 October episode.

TVSAreports that Bertha is bossy, has a strong and domineering personality and she will cause trouble for the Turfloop “it” couple.

She will also cause trouble for Tbose’s mother and Mapitsi’s mother-in-law, Meikie Maputla (played by Harriet Manamela).

“She has a very traditional view on gender roles within marriage and isn’t afraid to make this known, even though she’s getting paid to keep the kids quiet,” adds the publication.

The showalso recently introduced a new son (Pitsi) for the couple, Mapitsi and Tbose) on 2 September.

SABC1reveals that the new Pitsi Maputla is played by Lethabo Matsetela.

Pitsi’s on-screen parents Hungani Ndlovuwho plays Thabo “Tbose” Maputla, and Mogau Motlhatswi who plays Mapitsi Maputla also welcomed their new bundle of joy, Baby Oratile (played by Realeboha Khotle).

The new family of four moved out of Meikie’s house and moved into their new house in season 13.
