South Africans can look forward to pleasant weather later in the week as temperatures are expected to improve across much of the country.
This change comes after an intense cold front swept through South Africa last week, bringing freezing temperatures to various regions. Starting Monday, the weather is expected to be fine and cool to warm for most areas.
In Gauteng, temperatureswill likely remain in the high teens to low 20s throughout the week. Johannesburg will experience cool and clear conditions all week, although mornings will be chilly. Durban will have relatively warm weather, with temperatures peaking in the mid-20s.

In contrast, Cape Town will experience warm conditions on Monday, but temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-teens later in the week, with rain anticipated.
For most areas of the country, no rain is forecast, and the weather will remain clear and sunny for the remainder of the week.
