Boxing coach Vasti Spiller opened up about how she feels while her fiancé Dricus du Plessis is fighting, via an Instagram post on 17 February.

Dricus du Plessis’ fiancée Vasti Spiller took to Instagram to express how she feels while the UFC Middleweight Champion competes. Dricus retained his UFC Middleweight Championship after defeating Sean Strickland. The fight took place on Sunday 9 February (SAST) at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Vasti, who shared a Get Ready With Me video ahead of the fight, explained that it feels as if you’re going to watch the same movie but you forget the ending. She went on to say that she feels afraid, but she also understands the meaning of hope. So, it is exciting… but you can’t wait for it to be over.

“Getting ready to go watch your man fight is weird. It’s this feeling of going to watch the same movie but you forgot the ending. You feel fear, but mostly you finally understand the meaning of hope. It’s exciting, but you can’t wait for it to be over. “I’ll stand by you” has a new meaning since I fell in love with you,” she wrote.
