GUCCI SHOES: X
As mzansi users gathered to find the owner of the infamous Gucci R18k shoes, George offers a reasonable explanation for what happened and why his wife is upset.
TikTok creator @lenesichang1 took to the platform to share that her husband brought Gucci shoes, but when asked where the shoes were he had nothing to say. This video caused many TikTok creators to make skits regarding the situation with some adding that they would check people’s posts to see who was unboxing the luxury shoes.
Taking to Instagram, 5FM radio DJ Jodell Tantij shared a telephonic interview with George where he explained who the shoes were for. The question remains if the explanation was enough to let internet users rest.
During the interview, George stated that the shoes were brought by his friends as an anniversary gift to his wife, adding that, he still doesn’t know how the shoes ended up in his car. This explanation left many users confused as nothing he was saying was adding up.
