Orlando Piratessupporters should be expecting a big announcement or two in the next 48 hours.
TWO WINGERS TO ORLANDO PIRATES?
As announced by the club in the past month, two struggling wing players left the Sea Robbers on loan. Katlego Otladisa joined Sekhukhune United, before Gilberto re-joined Petro de Luanda in Angola on loan. Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates faced Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup last 32 without a single winger on the bench. As things stand, the club’s wing options are Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota, while Monnapule Saleng remains frozen out of the team.
Orlando Pirates are therefore expected to recruit one or two new wingers before the transfer window deadline. The club are hotly linked with Polokwane City’s Oswin Appollis and, to some extent, Cape Town Spurs’ Asanele Velebayi.
