Ithuba has revealed that two Lotto Plus jackpots players from their draws on Saturday, 1 February 2025, have become millionaires.
The lottery players used separate banking apps to bag their millions. The Lotto Plus 1 player has won R7 669 551, while the Lotto Plus 2 winner walked away with R11 066 488. Find out which banking apps they used and the reactions from South Africans.
TWO LOTTO PLUS JACKPOTS WINNERS USED BANKING APPS
According to posts shared by Ithuba on their X account, the Lotto Plus jackpots winners played using the Capitec and FNB banking apps. Their posts shared on 3 February 2025 read:
“CONGRATULATIONS to the lucky #LOTTOPLUS1 jackpot WINNER who WON OVER R7 MILLION from the 01/02/25 draw.”
“The National Lottery keeps creating Winners, just like the lucky #LOTTOPLUS2 jackpot WINNER who WON OVER R11 MILLION from the 01/02/25 draw.”
SOUTH AFRICANS REACT TO THE LOTTO PLUS WINS
South Africans have reacted to more winners of the lottery being from banking apps. Most congratulated the Lotto Plus jackpots winners, with some excited that a winner was from their bank. Here are the comments some of them shared.
