For the past two years, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has been desperately seeking answers to a scary health condition she has. Since her face swelled up in 2023, Brandi has kept her fans in the loop by sharing graphic updates. Despite numerous tests and treatments, the 52-year-old reality star still has no answers.
Unexplainable Symptoms and Suffering
“There’s something wrong in my body. I don’t know what it is, and that’s scary,” she told Daily Mail.Glanville listed a bunch of severe symptoms: “painful lumps” in her jaw, sensations of “something moving” beneath her skin, and even “acidic, foul-tasting drainage” that has corroded five of her teeth. She also shared that she has undergone four biopsies, lymphatic drainage, and even a treatment called CellSound, which uses ultrasound waves to break down fat. Yet still, with all of this, nothing has helped her. “I need an answer. I need to get to the bottom of it because I don’t want to not wake up one day.”
Brandi Glanville: The Angioedema Incident
Hernightmare began in August 2023, when she was hospitalised with angioedema, which is a condition where tissue deep under the skin fills with fluid and swells up. Angioedema was the first major sign that something was wrong. Brandi believed her fallout with co-star Caroline Manzo caused stress. “It was stress,” she said. This came months after Glanville was accused of sexual misconduct during a spin-off show in Morocco, which are allegations she denies to this day.
Still Searching for a Diagnosis
Despite all her efforts, the cause of her face swelling remains a mystery. “I’m not okay,” she admitted. “I’m scared, I’m sad, and I’m trying my best to hold it together. I just want my life back,” she added. The reality TV star is still hoping for a breakthrough.
