Salum wants out of Tanzania
27-year-old Attacking midfielder Feisal Salum will not be extending his contract with Azam FC in his homeland. The goal-scoring schemer has been persistently linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs.
“Feisal Salum has made his decision and informed the club that he will not extend his contract,” Africafoot.com confirmed.
“He is enjoying his experience at Azam, a big club, but he wants to explore new opportunities at the end of the season,
“A move to Kaizer Chiefs? It is still too early to say for sure, but it is a very serious possibility.”
Salary demands could be prohibitive for Kaizer Chiefs
Tanzanian international midfield star Feisal Salum is commanding a massive new pay rise with his current club Azam FC. Simba SC and Kaizer Chiefs are both lurking with considerable intent. According to The Citizen, Amakhosi have the funds to out-bid Azam and offer him improved terms. However, Chiefs face a tough stage of negotiations if they want to lure the midfielder away from his homeland. The attacking midfield maestro scored 19 goals last term but is yet to score or assist in two Caf Champions League outings this term. Has his head been turned?
