According to HelloSafe, the study evaluated the average daily spend needed per traveller across 131 countries. This included accommodation prices, as well as food and transport expenses.

“This budget includes the expenses incurred by the traveller on site in the destination country, i.e. accommodation expenses (hotel or Airbnb-type reservation), food expenses (based on local CPI indices and the cost of catering) and transport expenses within the country itself (plane, train, bus, other public transport or taxi). Conversely, this budget does not include the cost of transport to the destination country (typically the cost of a plane ticket).” HelloSafe revealed.
