In a recent podcast appearance, Terrence Howard opened up about a disturbing encounter he shared with Diddy. The Empire actor shared how unsettling some of the situations that happen in Hollywood are, as he touched on the importance of preserving your masculinity, culture, and core identity.
His Alleged Encounter with Diddy
On the PBD PodcastHoward described how uncomfortable he was when he met up with Sean “Diddy” Combs. He detailed that this encounter made him question the mogul’s intentions: “Puffy invited me for weeks. Asking me to teach him how to… you know, be his acting coach for a while,” He’s just sitting around looking at me. I’m like, okay, what’s the material you want to work on?”…he was looking at me…My assistant was like… I think he’s tryna f*** you. And I was like, oh, now I get it.”

A Look Into the Industry
“When you give up your manhood, I’ve never seen somebody recover from it,” he said. According to Howard, the industry has created a place where abuse of power has pushed many to a breaking point.
Howard warned many about the entertainment industry “They have a great desire by being a man. So I believe that’s a big problem with all of the actors out there,” he explained. “Because they get fluids and mixed in, you know. They’ll influence you and then the next thing you’re gone, you don’t have any power or any foundation to pull yourself back… So maintain your man card no matter what.”
How Terrence Howard truly feels about the Diddy parties
Howard also shared how he feels about the Combs’ infamous parties. “That was all the people that went to the puffy parties… thinking that there was never going to be a consequence for what they were doing,” he said. The aftermath, according to him, is seriously damaging and long-lasting. “They can’t get it out of their head. No matter how they did it, whether they were drunk, the things that they did… They end up on drugs.”
