Mamelodi Sundowns have moved to secure star defender Mothobi Mvala’s future at Chloorkop.
The towering Bafana Bafana defender joined the club in 2020 from Highlands Park, giving the Brazilians some much needed force in defence.
The hard-tackling defender has already made 112 appearances for the club, scoring seven goals and assisting four more.
And now, new reports suggest he’s set to conclude a new long-term contract extension at Mamelodi Sundowns!
Mvala to sign new contract at Sundowns
According to local publication Soccer Laduma, Mothobi Mvala is set to sign a new three-year contract extension at Mamelodi Sundowns.
Inside sources have indicated that negotiations went smoothly, and the Bafana Bafana defender will soon put pen-to-paper on a deal which could see him remain at the club until 2029.
