Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly considering a loan move for one of their fringe defenders.
25-year-old right-back Zuko Mdunyelwa, who joined the club at the beginning of the year, will likely be loaned out in a bid to get more playing time.
The talented defender has made just two starts this season for the club and has been deemed surplus to requirements for now by Manqoba Mngqithi.
According to the latest transfer gossip, Mamelodi Sundowns are looking at potential loan destinations for their talented defender.
Mdunyelwa set to be loaned out by Sundowns
“With so much competition in the team, Zuko Mdunyelwa has struggled to get opportunities in the line-up and there is a possibility that he could be given a chance to go get game time elsewhere,” a Soccer Laduma report read.
“At 25, the Siya crew understands that Sundowns still see a future for him at Chloorkop, but with Khuliso Mudau and Thapelo Morena doing well at the moment for the Tshwane giants at right back, Mdunyelwa is not likely to feature much in the starting line-up for Mamelodi Sundowns.”
