SPAR Proteas skipper Msomi bags personalised shoes from Puma

Puma presented SPAR Proteas skipper Bongi Msomi with personalised trainers to celebrate her captaining the netball World Cup squad.

Msomi will lead the South African netball team at the eagerly anticipated Netball World Cup in Cape Town.

PUMA CELEBRATES MSOMI WITH PERSONALISED TRAINERS

Playing in Puma Solarstrike II netball trainers, the sports manufacturer created a personalised version of these netballshoes in national team colours featuring the South African flag as well as her nickname BOH.

“I love these shoes and am excited to play in them. The Solarstrike II is both light and provides stability,“ said Msomi in her response.

“So, they’re great for changing direction at speed. Wearing these unique shoes will boost my confidence and definitely make a statement.”

On behalf of Msomi and SPAR Protea’s sponsor, Puma’s Marketing Director Brett Bellinger described the KwaZulu-Natal star as a phenomenon on and off the netball court.

As the countdown for the Netball World Cup has gone down to 17 days, Msomi said she has fallen in love with the Puma brand.

“I have never had this type of support. PUMA opened doors for me when it comes to personal sponsorship and ambassadorship,” she added.

In addition, Puma South Africa is the official kit supplier for all teams under the auspices of Netball South Africa.

The global sports company unveiled the United Warriors kit worn by the SPAR Proteas during the 2023 season in March 2023.
