Sirino reveals truth about Chiefs compared to Sundowns

Kaizer Chiefs ace Gaston Sirino has explained the different realities at Amakhosi compared to his former club Mamelodi Sundowns.

FEWER PLAYERS AT KAIZER CHIEFS

According to the 34-year-old Uruguayan, the glaring difference is the depth and quality at the two clubs. “I think here [at Chiefs], there aren’t too many players, but at Sundowns, there are many good players,” Amakhosi‘s Sirino said via FARPost.

“There is also too much quality at Sundowns. When there are players who are injured at Chiefs, you can see that the team is short. You can see when [Inacio] Miguel got injured, we had Bradley Cross playing centre-back.

“So at Sundowns, there are too many players in every position, but the quality here at Chiefs is also good,” the Kaizer Chiefs attacker concluded on FARPost.

In the meantime, Sirino and his teammates are preparing for the biggest game of the season. The Glamour Boys will face Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday. Kick Off will be at 15:00 from the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
