A Mamelodi Sundowns attacker has a fan in Gaston Sirino.
GASTON SIRINO NAMES HIS PLAYER OF THE SEASON
According to Sirino, Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro, with 13 goals and seven assists, has been the undisputed best player in the country this season.
“Of course, of course. Lucas Ribeiro is a top player and also my friend,” Gaston said via Soccer Laduma. “I think he has all the qualities to be player of the season because the numbers are there as well.
“He plays well in every game and Sundowns are also doing well. For me, he is the best player in South Africa now. He deserves to be the player of the season,” Sirino concluded via Soccer Laduma.
In the meantime, Kabo Yellow are set to play in the CAF Champions League final. The game will be against Egypt’s Pyramids FC. The first leg will be in Tshwane on 24 May, before the second leg on 1 June in Cairo.
