SA weather service: 'Snow is possible'

In the latest update from the SA weather service, widespread rainfall, damaging winds and waves have been predicted particularly for the south-west of South Africa on Tuesday, but it’s the forecast of some possible snow that will also catch people’s attention.

Notably, it’s stated that snow is possible over the mountain peaks, but even if this does materialise, it’s not expected to be particularly heavy snowfall.

While Tuesday looks like a relatively unpleasant day weather wise in the south-west, the most noteworthy weather in the central parts of the country will arrive on Wednesday as well, when temperatures are predicted to plunge to single digits in addition to some strong gusting wind.
