TRAVIS SCOTT’S ‘DEMONIC’ COACHELLA CONCERT HAS FANS CONCERNED

On social media, clips of Travis Scott’s Coachella performance have attracted criticism

The show saw the singer’s backup dancers hand upside down midair. Travis performed on a platform, which was raised and dropped throughout the show.

A US TikToker – @rendaboyd – said in a video that had over two million views:  “Why is your theme always hell? It’s always hellish, and it’s always hell bound. It looked like the people were upside down and falling into hell; it was like a hell simulation.

She continued: “He’s letting you know who gave him the rights to his fame and fortune. He’s always collecting and harvesting energy from the crowd. It’s always so dark and devious.”

In the comment section, South Africans expressed their concern about Travis Scott’s upcoming show.

@Masilelasma:“It’s giving full-blown demonic ritual. I requested for a refund because there’s no way, I am going to that concert!”

@shannen_casrtens25: “He better stay away from South Africa. We are a nation that prays!”

ASTROWORLD TRAGEDY AND RUMOURS OF ‘BLOOD RITUAL’

According to conspiracy theorists on the internet, Travis Scott’s Astroworld 2021 disaster, which claimed 10 lives and wounded many more, was named a “Satanic ritual.”

A number of TikTok and X users posted clips explaining why they think the stampede involved evil forces.

“Travis Scott conducted a satanic ritual in the guise of a concert, sacrificing at least 10 people”, said one  X user.

Another claimed that the number “666” featured predominantly behind the scenes. A third reflected on the significance of the words “See Ya On The Other Side,” which flashed before Travis Scott took the stage and performed.

Many more reflected on concert and promotional imagery linked to the occult, such as flames, burning doves, triangles, and “third eyes” and the stage, which was “shaped like an inverted cross”.

‘FANS LIKE FAMILY’

Speaking to GQ Magazine in 2023,  Travis Scott said of the 10 fans who died: “Those fans were like my family. You know, I love my fans to the utmost.”

He added: “It has its moments where it gets rough and… yeah. You just feel for those people. And their families.”
