The Mommy Club is back, and the Joburg mommies are bringing the heat. Season 3 of the hit reality show premiered on Showmax on 15 February.
New episodes will be dropping every Saturday, showing a glimpse into the lives of glamorous, wealthy mothers.
THE MOMMY CLUB RETURNS
This season, prepare to meet four dynamic new faces: Mrs J, Pheladi, Noksie, and Vuyi. These ladies are set to shake things up as they join returning favourites Hermajesty and Mrs Sande, according to Showmax Stories.
Friends Mrs Mops, Nozipho Ntshangase and Rosette Ncwana will also be along for the ride. Expect drama, luxury, and a whole lot of sass!
Showmax is also expanding The Mommy Clubuniverse with a brand-new spin-off. The Mommy Club: Van Die Hoofstadlaunches on 14 March, promising even more madness.
ROSETTE NCWANA SPILLS THE TEA
As the new season drops, supermodel and entrepreneur Rosette Ncwana shares her thoughts on the show.
Ncwana, a South African fashion icon, brings 21 years of industry experience to The Mommy Club, according to Glamour.
She’s graced magazine covers and been the face of major brands. Now, she’s ready to give viewers a new side of herself.
“What drew me to The Mommy Club was the opportunity to share a different side of myself,” Ncwana said. “I wanted to be part of something real and authentic, something that truly connects with people”.
THE MOMMY CLUB AND BEING AUTHENTIC
Ncwana also discussed her experience filming the reality show, which she called “incredible.”
“It was fun, emotional, and sometimes challenging, but overall, I loved every moment,” she said. Ncwana revealed that she gravitated towards Noksie and Mrs J, according to Entertainment SA.
“I tend to gravitate towards them because they’re real with me and aren’t trying to be something they’re not,” she explained.
“I respect moms who are open about their struggles, especially when it comes to the tough moments”.
ROSETTE BRINGS THE REALNESS
As for what she brings to the show, Ncwana said she offers “a mix of elegance, strength, and realness.”
She hopes viewers will learn “that it’s okay to be human, flaws and all.”Ncwana also encourages everyone to watch The Mommy Clubbecause “it’s real and entertaining!”.
“The Mommy Club isn’t just about motherhood – it’s about powerful women navigating life, love, friendships, and personal growth,” she said.
“It’s filled with laughter, drama, and heartfelt moments that viewers will relate to, whether they’re moms or not”.
