Mamelodi Sundowns will welcome Orlando Pirates to the Loftus Stadium in a Betway Premiership clash on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
Now, the stakes are high as these are two PSL giants fighting for the league title – it’s a top-of-the-log encounter.
Sundowns top the standings with 39 points from 14 games while Pirates are second with 33 points from 13 games.
The majority of fans would agree that Pirates need these three points at stake more than Sundowns.
And that’s because the Buccaneers are seen as the only team capable of ending Sundowns’ total dominance in the league.
However, the Soweto giants will have to work twice as hard to earn those points against the mighty Brazilians.
Now, for those who have been following both Pirates and Sundowns, it will be interesting to see if two of their star players will come to the party – Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Relebohile Mofokeng.
SUNDOWNS VS PIRATES: RIBEIRO COSTA VS MOFOKENG
Both Ribeiro Costa and Mofokeng have been superb for Sundowns and Pirates respectively this season.
And their performances have led to a debate as to who the best player in the league is right now.
For that reason, all eyes will be on them – Ribeiro Costa and Mofokeng – to see if they can show up on the day.
Why these two players?
These are two players who are in their second full season in the PSL with their respective clubs.
This season only, Ribeiro Costa has featured in 12 league games for Sundowns, and has directly been involved in 12 goals.
The left-footed attacker has scored seven goals and provided five assists, meaning he contributes a goal in every league match on average.
Mofokeng, 20, has featured in each of Pirates’ 13 league games so far, and has seven goal-contributions to his name.

And that’s two goals and five assists for the Sharpville-born attacker but never underestimate his presence on the pitch.
