Kaizer Chiefs have several injuries to contend with before their clash with Sekhukhune. Is this how they’ll line up?

Injury report
Ashley du Preez, Edson Castillo and Gaston Sirino will all miss Chiefs’ match against Sekhukhune on Saturday 19 January. Meanwhile, star 22-year-old defender Rushwin Dortley is a major doubt.
“Ashleythis week won’t be with us, and I can’t say when he will be fit as we are still waiting for the report from the medical team about his state,” Chiefs assistant coach Youssef told FARPost.
“We have a player that has a fracture, Castillo. Sirinois also out. Dortley, you know, when he came back from the national team, Bafana Bafana, he returned with an injury. So we are trying to manage and protest him. For this game [Sekhukhune], we don’t know yet if he will be with us or not. We are still waiting for the medical report.”
Chippa United and SuperSport have both expressed an interest in Kaizer Chiefs’ out-of-favour Congolese attacker Christian Saile. Itumeleng Khune rates him as a player but feels he’ll thrive away from the fish bowl-pressurized environment of Naturena. One fan in the comments section of a recent article from The South African article claimed Chiefs would be lucky to get R50 for him. An exaggeration, sure, but we get the point he was trying to make. 25-year-old Saile has flattered to deceive since his move from Nchanga Rangers in January 2023. Seven goals and four assists in 56 appearances is hardly setting the world alight.
