A man was arrested for selling tickets to the Nedbank Cup final in Durban ahead of kick-off on Saturday.

All tickets for the match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at the Moses Mabhida Stadium were sold out.

KwaZulu-Natal Police Spokesperson, Robert Netshiunda, said the man was caught selling tickets issued to sponsors.

He was also found with wristbands meant for service providers at the event.

Due to the fact that too many tickets were sold for the Nedbank Cup final due to a computer glitch, police warned that anyone found selling tickets, whether authentic or fake, would be arrested.

Have you ever sold a ticket and wondered if you just broke a law?
