Hilton, 43, and her husband Carter Reum purchased the beachfront property for R 157 million in June 2021, according to E News.

While this was not their main residence – they primarily live in Beverly Hills – it held sentimental value.

“This home is where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” she wrote.

PARIS HILTON’S FAMILY

The couple’s son, Phoenix, is 23 months old, and their daughter, London, just turned one, according to USA Today.

Hilton reassured her fans that her family is safe, stating, “My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected by these fires.”

AN ADVOCATE FOR CAUSES

True to her reputation as an advocate for causes close to her heart, Hilton revealed that her 11:11 Media Impact team is exploring ways to assist those impacted.

“We want to make a meaningful difference,” she said, urging fans to follow evacuation orders and show gratitude to firefighters, according to Page Six.

She praised first responders, saying, “Thank you to the brave firefighters risking their lives to protect our communities.”

Hilton also posted resources for animal shelters and disaster relief on her Instagram Story.

THE PALISADES FIRE

The PalisadesFire is one of three massive wildfires wreaking havoc in the region.

It has forced at least 30,000 people to evacuate and destroyed hundreds of homes, including those of Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and Leighton Meester.

Wind gusts of up to 160 km/h have made firefighting efforts extremely challenging.

Officials have called this the most destructive wildfire in Los Angeles history. Tragically, two civilian deaths were reported in the Eaton Fire.

This isn’t Hilton’s first brush with fire.

PARIS HILTON’S PREVIOUS FIRE INCIDENT

In August 2024, her glam trailer was destroyed during the filming of her music video.

At the time, she shared a photo of the scorched structure, writing, “As heartbreaking as it is, I’m grateful everyone is safe.”

The reality star’s resilience shines through as she focuses on helping others. “Hug your loved ones tighter tonight,” she told her followers. “You never know when everything could change.”

Wildfires of this scale are not foreign to South Africans.

THE KNYSNA FIRES

In 2017, the Knysna fires devastated the Western Cape, destroying over 600 homes and leaving thousands displaced.

Hilton’s efforts to provide relief could inspire local celebrities and philanthropists to take action during similar crises in South Africa.

Paris Hilton’s story is a sobering reminder of how quickly disaster can strike, but also how important it is to find strength and give back in the face of adversity.
