Orlando Pirates signed the National First Division’s (Motsepe Foundation Championship) superstar Thuso Moleleki from Orbit College before the start of the season. Is another MFC star coming to the Sea Robbers?
MUZOMUHLE KHANYI TO LEAVE HUNGRY LIONS?
Anyone who has been following Orlando Pirates is most likely aware that Zakhele Lepasa’s future with the club is unclear.
According to Soccer Laduma, the 26-year-old Muzomuhle Khanyi has attracted Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United, and Baroka FC.
“It is Pirates, Sekhukhune, Baroka and Casric Stars, and they are all interested in the player,” the source said.
“They are all vying for his signature. Some of these teams have already initiated discussions with Khanyi’s camp, paving the way for a potential transfer,” the source concluded.
THABANG MATULUDI
Orlando Pirates are reportedly keen on signing another right-back. This one has the height and physicality of Khuliso Mudau of Mamelodi Sundowns. The name is Thabang Matuludi from Polokwane City.
According to the Citizen, the 25-year-old was wanted by Kaizer Chiefs before the start of the season. This new report suggests that Orlando Pirates are now keen.
“Chiefs were leading the race to sign him, and unfortunately for him, the move didn’t happen before the last transfer window closed,” a source told the outlet.
“There have been enquiries about him and I’m told Pirates are also monitoring the situation. Remember Chiefs wanted to also get his teammate Oswin Appollis but that move also didn’t happen because the City chairman is a hard man to convince into selling,” the source concluded.
