Orlando Pirates were quiet in the recent transfer window. However, that is not the case at Mayfair now…

Orlando Pirates were recently spotted with a new player.

Meanwhile, he has been joined by another new star at Mayfair.

PIRATES SPOTTED WITH ANOTHER NEW STAR

Pirates have a couple of new faces training with them, as we speak.

Initially, Neo Mokoena arrival sparked a lot of interest. However, he isn’t the only new face practicing with the Bucs. In fact, he is one of two exciting Bucs DDC stars currently training with Pirates.

“He is a winger. A very good winger. I think they are doing it for this season. They are looking beyond this season already . You know this is how they did with Mohau Nkota. They promoted him and he had been training with the first team until this season. Now, it’s Neo (Mokoena) as well as defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi who is training with the first team. Both have been impressive and its apparently believed that the coach and technical team are hoary with the progress,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.

Meaning, both Mbokazi and Mokeona are in line to earn first team contracts.

So, this is a golden opportunity for both Bucs DDC golden boys.

NO SIGNINGS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE?

To the surprise of many, Pirates did not sig any new players in the recent transfer window.

This, despite being linked with several big-name transfer targets.

However, this could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. This is because the Bucs can develop their home grown talent and there is no time line on promoting DDC stars. Moreover, the likes of Mohau Nkota and Relebohile Mofokeng have both come through the Pirates academy system. Meanwhile, they also can save money and take more time on deciding their next moves.

HAVE YOU SEEN MOKOENA OR MBOKAZI IN ACTION FOR THE BUCS DDC SIDE? IF SO, ARE THEY GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY FOR PIRATES’ FIRST TEAM?
