OR Tambo operates over 12 million seats in 2024

Recent data from OAG’s Global Airline Schedules has revealed the World’s Busiest Airports for 2024.

According to their regional data, Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport was one of the top 10 busiest airports in the Middle East and Africa, operating over 12 million seats in 2024.

Dubai International Airport took the number one spot with 60,2 million seats and also ranked second globally.

Doha’s Hamad International Airport secured the second spot with 32,4 million seats, and Jeddah came third with 29,7 million seats.
