Media personality and activist, Ntsiki Mazwai took to her social media pages to voice out her concerns surrounding the recent interview conducted by news channel, ENCA with Chris Hani’s murderer, Januzs Walus.

In a series of videos shared by Ntsiki on her social media platforms, she urges South Africans to stand up for themselves and report the news channel. She revealed in the clip that she reported the hate speech in the interview, but she received an ‘arrogant’ response.

Ntsiki has resorted to imploring South Africans to boycott the channel because according to her it embraces the apartheid era. She voiced that the interview opened old wounds for some South Africans, as their political icon was killed gruesomely by Januzs who shows no remorse.

In one of her clips, Ntsiki shares why South Africans should stop watching the channel.

The podcaster said she wants the ENCA broadcasting license revoked and the interview with Januzs taken down.

In an interview with ENCA reporter, Annika Larsen, Januzs said the motive for Chris’s murder was to stop the negotiations that would bring an end to apartheid. The apartheid stalwart was shot four times outside of his home, on the 10th of April 1993.

During the interview, Januzs said if he were given a chance to kill Chris, he would do it again. The 72-year-old Poland native described how he walked up to Chris on the day he killed and shot him.

“He was one of the most dangerous people. He was not only the general secretary of the South African Communist Party (SACP), he was also chief of staff of Umkhonto weSizwe,” he said.
