Ukhozi FM’s radio personality Nondumiso Shazi has passed away.
NONDUMISO SHAZI: CAUSE OF DEATH
TshisaLIVEreports that Nondumiso Shazi who was host of Ukhozi FM’s Vumelani Abantwana Beze Kimi passed away at 33 years.
It is reported Shazi died on Thursday, 21 November, at Addington Hospital in Durban after battling headaches and tremors for a month.
SABC spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo tells the publication that Ukhozi FM management and staff members are saddened by the passingof Nondumiso Shazi.
“Shazi started working at the SABC in June 2023. She has played a meaningful role in fulfilling the SABC’s public service mandate from a programming perspective. She will be deeply missed by her colleagues, friends and listeners of the station. It must be noted that she did not collapse at work as alleged”, adds Seapolelo.
Shazi is the fifthUkhozi FM radio personality to die after Bonga Ndaba, Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule, Bheka “Beekay” Mchunu and Irvin Sihlophe.
The South African will reveal her memorial and funeral details over the next few days.
