Kaizer Chiefs could soon fire Nasreddine Nabi.

AmaKhosi management is in limbo about the Tunisian head coach’s future, with some appealing for his exit and others insisting he needs more time to turn things around.

“There was a meeting just like after every game to analyse what went wrong against Golden Arrows but the issue of the coach (Nabi) was then discussed,” SoccerLaduma reported.

“Yes, there were two groups of minds. One saying they should give him games to prove himself before the end of the season and if he fails in those games then they part ways.

“While the other side still believes that he needs time to turn the fortunes around. That side believes he has brought some positivity to the team (Chiefs.”

Frosler to be let go?

Another Kaizer Chiefs figure facing an exit is defender Reeve Frosler, who has been at the club since 2019.

The 27-year-old’s contract runs out at the end of the season, and according to reports, the Glamour Boys are considering not renewing, which would put an end to his six-year career at the club.

Another defender who could soon be out the door is Happy Mashiane, who, too, arrived in 2019.

“Chiefs will be willing to allow Happy Mashiane to move, especially if they succeed in getting some of their targets,’ SoccerLaduma confirmed.

“The boy has been unlucky with lack of game, but he remains one of the best for his position. Stellenbosch is monitoring his situation.”
