Mooo.nakaa leaves Piano Pulse podcast

Popular influencer and reality TV personality Mooo.nakaa, known off-camera as Munaka Muthambi, has officially announced her exit from the widely followed podcast Piano Pulse.

The announcement stirred conversation online, especially given recent controversies, but Mooo.nakaa has made it clear that her decision is rooted in personal growth, not drama.

Taking to social media, she explained the move was carefully considered and deeply spiritual.

“I’ve made the decision that I’m leaving Piano Pulse and it’s a tough decision for me because I want to be a part of the culture and I love these guys, but it’s something I prayed about. It’s not about me anymore. God has spoken to me,” she shared.

The content creator, who’s built a strong following through her bold personality and authentic storytelling, is now shifting her focus to new creative territory.

She recently unveiled her own digital show titled The Sport Scene with Mooo.nakaa. Created specifically for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, the show brings fans closer to the pulse of South Africa’s biggest sporting events — not from the field, but from the crowd’s point of view.

“This show has been a dream in the making and I’m excited that we’ve brought it to life,” Mooo.nakaa said, beaming with pride.

“Sport is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together. Regardless of your back story, we all get caught up in the energy, the passion and the moments that make history. With The Sport Scene I get to fully immerse myself in that atmosphere while also bringing my audience along for the ride.”

The show officially debuted on March 5, with Mooo.nakaa covering two high-profile matchups.

First, she attended the Betway Premiership game between SuperSport United and AmaZulu FC at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria — a match that ended in a goalless draw but delivered plenty of fan excitement.

Then, she captured the buzz from the United Rugby Championship battle between the Sharks and the Lions at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban, where the Sharks narrowly clinched a 25–22 victory and walked away as champions of the South African Shield.
