MRS MOPS HOUSE GOES ON AUCTION?
Mrs Mops and her husband Isaac Mophatlane faced the possibility of losing their mansion previously. Sunday World reports that Mrs Mops and Isaac’s mansion was up for auction and a R5.8 million offer was made in September 2023, when it was up for auction. However, reports claim that it was recovered before it was sold.
Mrs Mops reportedly used restaurants and other locations instead of her mansion for all of the scenes she filmed for the show’s second season. IOL reports that the mansion is now being auctioned for a second time. This comes after the Sheriff of the High Court Pretoria South Gauteng Division and Nedbank Limited, the creditor, revealed that the Mophatlane family owes around R9 million.
The auction is set to take place on 5 March. There is a hefty registration fee for those looking to purchase the property – R50 000.
