With the deadline for the switch to the Postbank Black Card looming, millions of SASSA grant recipients are trying to replace their Gold Card with the new one on time.
Postbank has provided updated lists of retail stores in some provinces that can now also help SASSA grant beneficiaries collect their Postbank Black Card. Here are more stores you can visit in the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape.
UPDATED BLACK CARD COLLECTION SITES IN THE WESTERN CAPE
A more extensive list of retailers in the Western Cape has been made available. Here’s where to go in this province for your new card.

The Northern Cape has also added a few more collection sites for SASSA grant beneficiaries to visit for card collection. Here’s where to go in this region.

BLACK CARD COLLECTION SITES IN THE EASTERN CAPE
Unfortunately, the list for the stores in the Eastern Cape that are collection sites for Postbank Black Cards hasn’t been updated yet. The list will be amended as soon as more retailers are provided. These are the stores already providing the service in the province.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED WHEN COLLECTING
Grant beneficiaries can take their ID to collect their new Postbank Black Card. Those collecting on behalf of someone will need to also take an official SASSA letter in order to get the new card.
