More budget flights from Norse Atlantic Airways to Cape Town

Norse Atlantic Airways ups frequency

Just last October, low-cost Norwegian carrier, Norse Atlantic Airways officially kicked off its seasonal London to Cape Town flights.

Now, as reported by Travel news, the airline will be adjusting its flight schedule along this route, increasing frequency from three weekly flights to four from 1 April until 27 April.

Norse’s second season in Cape Town, from October to November 2025, will then see the schedule return to three flights a week, before it kicks off four weekly flights again from December 2025 until April 2026.

Flight schedule

April 2025:

The schedule from 1 April will be as follows:

  • On Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Norse Atlantic departs Cape Town at 11:00 and arrives at London Gatwick at 21:40.
  • Then on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the flight departs London Gatwick at 20:00 and arrives in Cape Town at 08:30 the following day.

October 2025:

From 28 October until 30 November, three weekly flights will operate as follows:

  • On Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, the flight departs Cape Town at 11:45 and arrives at London Gatwick at 21:20.
  • Then on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays, the flight departs London Gatwick at 20:30 and arrives in Cape Town at 09:50 the following day.

December 2025

From 1 December 1 until 30 April 2026, the airline will return to four weekly flights as follows:

  • On Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the flight departs Cape Town at 11:45 and arrives at London Gatwick at 21:20.
  • Then on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the flight departs London Gatwick at 20:30 and arrives in Cape Town at 09:50 the following day.

Norse Atlantic Airways’ affordable Cape Town flights have become extremely popular for both South African and British travellers since its launch last year.
