Orlando Pirates have signed a total of nine players in this transfer window, but which players will make way?

Sources indicate that the Buccaneers could sell talented Congolese winger Karim Kimvuido. The 23-year-old has played just 25 league matches for the Sea Robbers in two seasons, scoring twice.

JS Kabylie from Algeria has expressed interest in the winger, but they are hesitant to pay a substantial transfer fee for the Orlando Pirates player.

Another player leaving the Buccaneers is Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.

“At the moment Chippa United are the ones in the forefront in pursuit to sign Ndlondlo from Pirates. It’s believed that although his contract is apparently supposed to have expired on 30th June, Ndlondlo is still at Pirates and Chippa is believed to be waiting to first hear from Pirates before they could sign the player but it’s believed that they really need him for his experience as they have released a few players ahead of the new season so that is why they are looking at signing Ndlondlo,” the insider told Soccer Laduma.

Could Orlando Pirates lose Mofokeng this transfer window?

The 20-year-old Bafana Bafana winger has decided against moving to Israel to join Maccabi Tei Aviv. Another new club keen to sign Mofokeng is Israeli giants Maccabi Haifa. The player’s father, Sechaba, has made it clear that his son will only play in Europe’s top five leagues.

With Orlando Pirates having signed Oswin Appollis this transfer window, Mofokeng’s departure is imminent.

Who should Pirates sign?
