Megan Thee Stallion, the American rapper and cultural icon announced her very own anime series, set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
The thrilling reveal happened on 30 May at DreamCon, a major convention celebrating anime and pop culture.

Megan, dressed as Yoruichi Shihōin from the hit anime Bleach, took the stage and dropped the big news, sending waves of excitement through the crowd.
The rapper teamed up with Carl Jones, the creative mind behind The Boondocks, to bring this unique project to life, according to Complex.
“You ain’t never seen an anime like this ever in your life,” Megan teased, keeping the plot details under wraps but promising something fresh and original.
MEGAN THEE STALLION’S LOVE FOR ANIME
This isn’t Megan’s first foray into the anime world, as she has openly shared her love for the genre for years.
Back in 2020, she collaborated with Crunchyroll to launch an anime-inspired streetwear collection.
The line featured graphic tees, hoodies, and tote bags, all inspired by her animated musicvideo for ‘Savage.’
In an interview with Crunchyroll that year, Megan Thee Stallion said, “I’m half anime character, half rapper. I like how you see a character start off weak, then grow through trials and training.
You meet new people who help you become who you’re meant to be. I apply that to my life a lot.”

Megan also launched her 18-piece Hot Girl Summer swimwear collection at PARAISO Miami Swim Week.

“Everyone knows I love being near a pool or a beach. I finally decided to turn my passion into a business and create my swimwear brand,” Megan shared.

“It was only right that we kick off Hot Girl Summer with this launch and provide Hotties of all body types with the official Hot Girl uniform.
I used to shop at Walmart growing up, so it’s full circle to have my own line there. I’m so grateful for their support.”
