MAMELODI SUNDOWNS LEGEND ESROM NYANDORO ALLEGEDLY LEADS CHURCH SERVICE

Esrom Nyandoro wowed many with his command of the game and flair. He won big with the Brazilians and has been working with the club across all verticals in recent years.

The Mamelodi Sundowns legend, who recently celebrated his 45th birthday, seemingly led a church service on his birthday.

He shared the picture on his Instagram and captioned it, ‘Birthday Vibes.’ He was seemingly standing next to a pulpit ministering.

However, the photo refuelled rumours that he was now in the ministry.

Against the debate, the publication has since established that the star hasn’t openly confirmed to be a pastor; however, he has been active at his church.

He often shares pictures and videos of church proceedings and events on social media.

Reports have it that the Mamelodi Sundowns legend has followed in the footsteps of other legends like Chancy Godwe and Tiyani Mabunda, who have also embraced faith-based roles after retiring from football.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns player Tiyani Mabunda is now a pastor at the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG).

The church belongs to Malawian Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, who ran away from the long arm of the law following charges of corruption, money laundering and racketeering.

Last year, he made headlines when his video surfaced of him ministering to the church during the Easter weekend.

In the video posted on social media, Mabunda is seen singing, dancing, preaching and getting different reactions from his followers.

He started playing football at a younger age. Esrom Nyandoro started his career with Zimbabwe Saints in 1999.

After over 50 appearances, he joined AmaZulu in 2001. In 2004, he joined Mamelodi Sundowns and became a club legend.

After over 200 appearances, he left the club and retired from the game. Since then, he has been involved in football across all verticals.

Esrom Nyandoro has worked with Mamelodi Sundowns’ youth academies.
