Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema celebrated his victory against AfriForum by taking a jab at United States President Donald Trump and his ally Elon Musk.

On Thursday, the Constitutional Court dismissed AfriForum‘s attempt to appeal the Supreme Court of Appeal’s ruling, which stated that the chant “Kill the Boer” is not considered hate speech.

After Afriforum’s application was dismissed, Malema took to X (Twitter) to tag Trump and Musk while celebrating victory.

“The ⁦EFF superior logic prevails again. I want all of you combined with your white supremacist; we will still show you flames. Try me, boys. ⁦Elon Musk and Donald Trump,” he tweeted.

EFF spokesperson Sinawo Thambo said AfriForum tried to silence “black resistance” pushed a false narrative of “white victimhood”.

“This case was a frivolous and cynical attempt to weaponise the legal system to distort history and silence black resistance,” he said.

Malema once again take on Musk and Trump

“AfriForum has repeatedly pushed the false narrative of white victimhood in a country where black people continue to suffer the legacy of land dispossession, economic exclusion and systemic oppression at the hands of white minority rule. Their efforts to criminalise a liberation song, one deeply rooted in the fight against the brutal regime that oppressed black people for decades, are part of their broader project to rewrite history, erase their own crimes and paint themselves as victims,” Thambo said.

The EFF leader has faced criticism for singing anti-apartheig song “Kill the Boer” over the years. Despite backlash US, including from Donald Trump and Elon Musk, Malema vowed to continue singing the song.

Should “Kill the Boer” song get banned?
