Congratulations to polygamist and reality TV star Musa Mseleku and his fifth wife, Samke ‘MaKhwela’ Khwela, who are expecting their first baby together.

MAMKHWELA ANNOUNCES PREGNANCY

The eighth season of Uthando Nes’thembu has become a major talking point ever since Musa Mseleku introduced his fifth wife, Samke ‘MaKhwela’ Khwela.

In the latest episode, Samke left viewers stunned when she revealed that she is expecting a child with the well-known polygamist.

Mseleku, who is already a father of ten, has long expressed his desire to grow his family. He shares three children with MaCele, three with MaYeni, two with MaNgwabe, and two with other women. Now, it appears that MaKhwela is ready to help him fulfil that dream.

The pregnancy announcement came during a short getaway the couple took together to relax and reconnect following Mseleku’s recent hospitalisation.

During the trip, they enjoyed a scenic game drive and later settled down for a romantic picnic. It was there that MaKhwela surprised Mseleku with a positive pregnancy test, revealing her pregnancy.

Mseleku was visibly overjoyed and emotional as the news marked a significant moment for him. Not only did it fulfil his wish to expand his family, but he also believed it would silence ongoing speculation about his fertility.

His excitement was further fueled by the fact that some of his other wives had refused to have more children, and a few had even threatened to leave him if he took a fifth wife.

‘I DON’T THINK AGE IS AN ISSUE’

Although Samke has faced criticism over the age gap between her and Mseleku, she stated in an earlier episode of Season 8 that she doesn’t see it as an issue.

“I am in my 20s, and I don’t think age is an issue when it comes to my relationship with Mthombeni. I also don’t think people should make it an issue,” she said.

The polygamist had been pleadingwith his wives to allow him to marry a fifth wife. In a previous interview with TshisaLIVE, Musa said he was waiting for their consent before moving forward with his plans.

“I’m asking my wives to allow me to take a fifth wife. It’s no longer a question to me. I’m just waiting for them to say yes or no.

And I’m doing it the modern way. If it was before, I’d be telling them that I’m taking,” he said.
