According to iDiski Times, Orlando Pirates proactively seek long-term replacements for Makhehlene Makhaula and Miguel Timm. 24-year-old Masindi Nemtajela is in focus. The Marumo Gallants man has featured 13 times this season and is seen as a natural successor to the aforementioned pair.

A trio of central defenders Tapelo Xoki, Nkosinathi Sibisi and Mbekezeli Mbokazi, dealt with everything thrown at them by a pacey MC Alger attack in a tricky first-leg tie. It was a pragmatic, sensible approach from head coach Jose Riveiro, and it paid dividends. Jose Riveiro made only one change to that starting XI for the second leg, with Mohau Nkota coming into the attack instead of Kabelo Dlamini. Given that Nkota scored the only goal in Algeria, he’s got a good chance of starting the semi-final first leg against Pyramids at Orlando Stadium. He’s the youngest player in Pirates history to score three away goals in a single Caf Champions League campaign.
