Podcaster and entrepreneur MacGyver “MacG” Mukwevho has issued an apology to songstress Nolwazi Nzama, popularly known as Nkosazana Daughter.
MACG APOLOGISES TO NKOSAZANA DAUGHTER
In July, the podcaster set tongues wagging after making shocking allegations about the father of the amapiano star’s child.
In an episode of his podcast, MacG and Chill, he claimed that Nkosazana’s baby daddy is not Sir Trill but rather Master KG, daring the musician to pursue legal action if his remarks were not true.
In a recent episode of his podcast, the podcaster swallowed his pride and apologised to the amapiano star but also levelled new allegations, accusing Sir Trill of being a deadbeat father. He said that Nkosazana’s brother had shown him a photo of the child, and it looks like Sir Trill.
“We were wrong; she [the child] looks just like Sir Trill. So, I want to apologise to Nkosazana Daughter,”he said.
MACG ACCUSSES SIR TRILL OF NOT SUPPORTING HIS CHILD
Sol Phenduka, his co-host, also expressed his regret to the singer, explaining that a friend of his had shared the claims with him and he was unaware that MacG would speak about them on their podcast.
“Now it seems like I am saying sorry because of the lawsuit thing, and it is not. It’s because we were wrong. But allegedly, Sir Trill is not supporting the kid, and it is from a credible source,” said MacG.
“I was told those allegations by my friends, and I had no idea that MacG would come and take it to the podcast,” said Sol Phenduka.
NKOSAZANA TAKES LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE PODCASTER
The podcaster’s apology comes after Sunday World reported that the 24 year-old is suing him and his co-hosts for R13 million for defamation of character. In her legal documents submitted to the Johannesburg High Court, Nkosazana Daughter said she is seeking this substantial amount for alleged defamation.
The amapiano artist stated that the accusations have negatively impacted her career.
“We have families at home like you that watch these things you say; my relationship with Sir Trill was never a secret but private! Even before you even knew me.”
“I assure you, big time, that my relationship with Master KG is not romantic or sexual! Like I said before, Master KG and I only work together, but it’s like there are people trying to convince you that there is more, and there is no such thing,” Nkosazana Daughter posted on social media.
