Controversial podcaster Mac G has stirred up major controversy yet again, this time for making a bold claim about Amapiano artist Sabelo Zuma during a recent episode of Podcast and Chill.
A short clip from the episode has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), sparking a wave of reactions from shocked viewers.
While discussing a song he believes deserved more recognition, Mac G brought up a collaboration that included Mellow & Sleazy, Mzu M, and one of the Amaroto members, but he appeared to forget the artist’s name mid-conversation.
As he tried to jog his co-hosts’ memories, Mac G made a startling remark.
“There was a guy they featured… I forgot his name, but he’s allegedly involved with drugs,” he said.
Sol Phenduka quickly pointed out that the artist in question was Zuma, prompting Mac G to ask: “Is it Zuma? Is he the one they say is involved in drugs?”
MacG just came back and already he’s about to issue an apology on the next episode.

The moment left co-hosts and viewers stunned, and the internet wasted no time reacting.
The clip quickly picked up traction, with many fans calling out Mac G for what they described as reckless allegations, while others said it was classic Mac G, stirring the pot with controversial takes.
The backlash comes not long after Mac G faced criticism for comments on previous episodes, with many questioning whether the show has become more about sensationalism than honest conversation.
