Lorna Maseko flips budget friendly meals into 5 star servings in new show ‘Lorna’s Pantry’

As we find ourselves midway through the month of January, it’s common to feel overwhelmed by the struggle of planning meals on a tight budget. Thankfully, renowned chef Lorna Maseko has the ideal solutions to ease your food-related worries and inspire delicious, affordable cooking!

It is 2025! Instead of losing our minds deciding what to cook after spending all of our monies on travels and treats during the festive season, you can now find all the inspiration you need from celebrity chef Lorna, as she invites us to explore the just how much we can do with a tiny budget in her new cooking show – Lorna’s Pantry.

When it comes to delectable dishes, there are very few people who know how to whip something special from scratch in the same way that Lorna does.

Her creative dishes have seen her travel all over the world while rubbing shoulders alongside many of the world’s top food experts including Bobby Flay where she shares her culinary advice with others.

The introduction of the cooking show marks the first time Lorna has executive produced a production and says that it is much different from all other projects she has worked on before.

Highlighting some of the contents of the show, she said: “This show is about the basics, saving money, which I know is important for many of us.”

“We will explore everything from starting your vegetable garden – growing your favourite herbs, veggies and fruits, which can save a lot of money and to creating amazing dishes from scratch using simple, budget-friendly ingredients.”

The 10-part series is set to hit television screens as from the 15th of January where it will be aired on S3 at 6 pm.
