Orlando Pirates will soon introduce a new sports science professional. The Betway Premiership club reportedly has Lee Miles coming in from the Cape.

Formerly with Cape Town City FC, Miles served the Citizens as Head of Sport Science and Performance, starting as a junior in June 2018.

According to iDiski Times, Miles will become Orlando Pirates’ fitness coach after former coach Jose Riveiro departed with Carlos Nodar Paz.

Orlando Pirates’ new signing Sipho Mbule has been the most talked-about player in South African football since June. Why? He is an elegant midfielder who was heavily linked with Kaizer Chiefs.

The 27-year-old from Bethlehem parted ways with Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns, and the alleged reason was unprofessional conduct off the field.

His agent, Mike Makaab, offered Mbule to Amakhosi, who simply took too long to decide on whether to sign Mbule.
