Patriotic Alliance (PA) Deputy President Kenny Kunenehas invited US President Donald Trump to attend the G20 summit in South Africa and to dismiss the concerns of “small boy” Julius Malema.
This invitation comes after Trump hinted on his Truth Social platform that he might not attend the G20 due to issues related to “land confiscation and genocide.” Since taking office, Trump has criticised South Africa for what he describes as “racial discrimination,” “genocide,” and the confiscation of land from white South Africans.
Kenny Kunene tells Trump not to worry about Malema
“How could we be expected to go to South Africa for the very important G20 meeting when land confiscation and genocide is the primary topic of conversation? Trump wrote on Saturday
“They are taking the land of white farmers and then killing them and their families. The United States has held back all contributions to South Africa. Is this where we want to be for the G20? I don’t think so!”
Kunene assured Trump that all was well and that he shouldn’t worry about Malema.
“Mr President, Julius Malema is not government in South Africa. He is a small boy, a toy soldier, and a very, very harmless pest. All that talk is about him being a loudmouth. So don’t be misled by an irritating political mosquito. Come to the G20 here in SA to see for yourself; you will be fine,” he said in a tweet.
Malema is yet to reply to Kunene but his party have stated Trump, saying his tariff system, has resulted in trade wars with other countries.
Do you think Trump will attend the G20?
