Earlier this year, Kefilwe burned a collection of her Versace clothing.
Reality TV star and fashion influencer Kefilwe Mabote is continuing to burn her designer items as part of her spiritual journey.
The Young, Famous & African star recently posted a video in which she sets her Christian Dior tote bag on fire.
Kefilwe describes the act as a spiritual move to “break soul ties”.
“That moment you realise the ‘gift’ was a gateway, a soul tie sitting pretty in your wardrobe.
“Burnt it like the altar of Baal. I refuse to carry spiritual baggage dressed as sentiment. If it wasn’t sealed in covenant, it has no place in my life,” she wrote.

Kefilwe Mabote on why she burned her items
This is not the first time Mabote has destroyed high-end fashion items in the name of spiritual cleansing.
Earlier this year, she burned a collection of Versace clothing, particularly those featuring the brand’s iconic Medusa emblem.
“The decision to burn these items came from a place of conviction,” she wrote at the time, citing the biblical scripture in Joshua 7:13, which warns against keeping accursed objects.
“The image of Medusa represents a Greek god, from the marine kingdom. As believers, we cannot serve two masters,” she added.
Mabote said giving the items away would have meant passing on something she no longer supported.
“I can’t, in good conscience, transfer things that I know carry deep spiritual implications. This journey has taught me that the spiritual realm operates on legalities – what we allow into our lives can give access to things we may not even realise.
“These items were open doors, and removing them was part of reclaiming my spiritual freedom,” she added.
