Kaizer Chiefs to decide on Nasreddine Nabi’s future?

Kaizer Chiefs lie sixth on the log, twelve points off leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

AmaKhosi’s PSL tally stands at five wins, five losses, and three draws in thirteen games, painting a grim picture that is beginning to replicate last season’s woeful record when they finished a sobering tenth place – the worst finishing position in Kaizer Chiefs history.

While Nasreddine Nabi’s job was never going to be easy, it was hard to fathom that the Glamour Boys would continue to slump so low, likened to Manchester United’s decline.

According to reports, Nabi’s tenure in Soweto hangs by a thread, with some of the Chiefs’ management already losing patience with the Tunisian head coach:

Saile to be set free?

Congolese international Christian Saile has failed to showcase his skill, failing to score in all six of his PSL outings this season.

Club legend Itumeleng Khune believes the pacey winger will enjoy life at Chippa United, who are monitoring the 25-year-old.

“Saile’s strength is to run at defenders, but he has not shown that since coach Nasreddine Nabi took over,” Khune told SABC’s SoccerZone.

“Remember when he came, he used to bang in goals. He used to take on defenders, creating opportunities coming from the right-hand side as a left-footed player.

“But I think if Chippa United eventually sign him, they will make use of him, but with Kaizer Chiefs, I doubt.”
