A source indicated that the 25-year-old shot-stopper has been on the radar of multiple clubs, with interest recently emerging from Kazakhstan following an initial inquiry from Saudi Arabia’s second division earlier this year.
International appearances keep Ntwari in the spotlight
Ntwari joined Chiefs after the Soweto giants secured his transfer from TS Galaxy at the start of the season. He began the campaign as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper but struggled to maintain form, conceding 11 goals in seven matches. Following his dip in performance, Bruce Bvuma replaced him in goal after a brief period where Brandon Petersen took over. Ntwari last featured for Chiefs on November 2, 2024.
Despite limited game time at the club level, Ntwari has remained active on the international stage. He has made three appearances since his last match for Chiefs, most recently facing Nigeria in a Group C World Cup qualifier. In that match, he conceded twice to Victor Osimhen as Rwanda suffered a 2-0 defeat.

Earlier this year, a second-division European club considered signing him, but the deal fell through. “There have been opportunities considered which will be revisited again in the next window, depending on what is said to us by those who brought his name to us,” an agent close to the negotiations revealed.
While Ntwari’s current club situation remains uncertain, the agent emphasized that financial considerations might play a role in any potential move. “We have noticed that he has not been playing at his club, but the transfer fee mentioned is reasonable,” the agent added.
